Take advantage of free downloadable demos for Xbox Kinect

By now, a lot of you are probably enjoying the new Xbox Kinect that was received as a holiday gift.   If you’re new to the Xbox universe, be aware that with a broadband connection, you can try many Kinect games before you buy, right in your home for $0.

From the Xbox dashboard, go to the Games Marketplace and look at Demos.  Game demos (usually one or two stages, or one or two songs) that are available for downloading include:

• Kinect Sports 1 & 2
• Dance Masters
• Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout
• Michael Phelps Push the Limit
• Deepak Chopra’s Leela
• Let’s Cheer
• Grease Dance
• Zumba
• Twister Mania
• Fruit Ninja
• Hole in the Wall
• Just Dance 3
• Kung Fu High Impact
• Rabbids Alive and Kicking

New games get added pretty much every week; go to this page to see new additions.  Usually, an Xbox Live Gold paid membership is required to download new demos, but if you don’t want to pay for the membership, just wait a week or two and the demo will probably become free.
